Weekly Koan: Shoushan’s Three Phrases

Weekly Reading: “Before Thoughts Arise,” pp. 134-136 in Danin Katagiri’s You Have to Say Something: Manifesting Zen Insight.

This sitting group includes an opening service, two periods of zazen, one period of kinhin, a tea service, discussion of the koan and reading, and closing vows.

Beginners and Experienced Zen practitioners welcome.

This sitting group will also be broadcast via Zoom.
